ABOUT THE FEST
FreedomFest started as a way for a big group of friends to come back together after being apart during lockdown — and it was such a huge success that it's now a bi-annual tradition.
Run by friends, for friends (and their friends), it's grown every single time — over 50 of us at the last one. Think long sunny afternoons by the fire-pit bus, karaoke under the tinsel, headphone discos where everyone's a DJ, wood-fired pizza, morning yoga, sound baths, and kids and dogs running riot in the best possible way.
It's not a public festival — there are no tickets on sale, no strangers, no queues. Just a private slice of Norfolk countryside, a stage, a sound system, and the people you love.
Battle of the Playlists
Headphone disco where YOU are the DJ. Pick a DJ name, build a set, spin your tracks.
Fed & Watered
Catered main meals and a wood-fired pizza night — meat, veggie, vegan & gluten-free covered.
Recovery Mode
Morning yoga and sound baths for when the night before catches up with you.
Family Friendly
Little ones welcome, with kids' catering options. Pups too (small charge per dog).

Pick your home for the weekend. Prices are a guide — final costs depend on how many of us sign up each year. All options are per adult for 3 nights and include a £20 refundable security deposit. Kids' catering and dogs (£25/pup) are small extras.
Luxury Bell Tent

The Farmhouse

Private double room in the farmhouse with proper beds & bedding. Perfect for families with little ones.
Basic Bell Tent

Private 5m bell tent with airbeds included (2x singles or 1x double). BYO bedding.
Luxury Bell Tent

The full glamp: 5m bell tent, camp beds, bedding, carpet, mirror, table & fairy lights. Just turn up.
BYO Tent or Campervan
From ~£185/adult
Bring your own tent or campervan, bedding & bits. (No electric hookup or water/waste services for campers.)

Wendling sits just off the A47 between Dereham and Swaffham — roughly 30 minutes from Norwich and easy to reach from King's Lynn. Pop NR19 2LT into your sat nav and follow signs for Wendling. There's parking on site.
🚆 By Train
The nearest mainline station is Norwich (London Liverpool Street ~1h50). From there it's about a 30-minute drive — team up in the group chat for lifts and car shares!
